About
About CasinoUXFieldnotes
CasinoUXFieldnotes is an independent research publication about how casino and sportsbook interfaces treat players: how they sign up, prove who they are, pay and get paid, use safer play tools and get by with disabilities.
What we publish
We publish 10 research papers, 3 journey maps, 4 field notes and 4 browser tools for product managers, designers, researchers and compliance teams working on licensed casino and sportsbook products in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia. Each page summarizes the published rules and standards that apply, quotes them where wording matters, and dates every source.
The site is organized into a research library, player journey maps, field notes and tools, with a glossary of the terms we use.
Who writes it
Pages are written and edited by Emily Parker for the CasinoUXFieldnotes Editorial Desk. We use AI tools to help find sources and prepare drafts. Every fact, quotation and date is checked against its original source before publication, as our editorial policy explains. The desk is accountable to the owner described below, and we never invent credentials.
What we never do
- Test or audit a named operator's live product and publish the results as if they were a study.
- Invent studies, sample sizes, statistics, drop-off rates, testimonials or author credentials.
- Rank, rate or review casinos or sportsbooks, or publish gambling offers.
- Accept payment or sponsorship from operators for coverage.
- Target markets where we do not publish, including markets where online gambling is restricted.
Ownership and interests
The owner of CasinoUXFieldnotes has commercial interests in iGaming marketing services. That interest is why the site exists and why we state it plainly; the disclosure explains what it means for our content. Who is responsible for personal data, and how to reach them, is set out in the privacy notice.
Corrections and contact
If you find an error, tell us through the contact page or by email to hello@casinouxfieldnotes.online, with the page address and a source that shows the correct fact. A person reads every message. Confirmed errors are fixed, and the page's update date changes. Our accessibility statement explains how we test this site, and the terms of use cover how the research may be used.
