Accessibility Statement
A site about accessible casino interfaces should be accessible itself. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across CasinoUXFieldnotes, and we tell you how we test and where we know we fall short.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on every page. We have not had the site audited by a third party, so we do not claim formal conformance.
How we test
- Automated checks on every page for page language, image text alternatives, form labels, unique IDs, landmarks, a single main heading, heading order and color contrast of text.
- Scripted keyboard tests of the menu, search, research library filters, journey matrix and all four tools.
- Layout checks at eight screen widths from 1600 down to 320 pixels for sideways scrolling.
- Support for reduced motion settings and a visible focus indicator on every control.
What we know is not perfect
- The journey matrix is a wide table. On small screens it scrolls sideways inside its own labeled region rather than the whole page.
- Some illustrations contain short labels as part of the drawing; where a drawing carries information, the same information is in the page text or the image description.
- We have not yet tested with every screen reader and browser pairing.
Report a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, tell us through the contact page or at hello@casinouxfieldnotes.online. Say which page and what happened, and, if you can, which device and assistive technology you were using. We aim to reply within five working days.
