Research Tools and Templates
Four tools that turn our research into review work. They run entirely in your browser: nothing you type is stored or sent, and each one exports a spreadsheet file you keep.
Use the checklist for a quick pass over a whole product, the observation log when testing accessibility in detail, the placement review when checking safer play controls against the rules in Great Britain, Ontario, New Jersey and Australia, and the contrast checker whenever colors change. None of the tools certifies compliance. They record your own review in a consistent format.

- A first review of a casino or sportsbook flow: the player journey checklist.
- Testing with keyboards and screen readers: the accessibility observation log.
- Checking where limits, breaks and self-exclusion appear: the safer controls placement review.
- Choosing or checking brand colors: the color contrast checker.
About the files you download
Each tool exports a CSV file that opens in any spreadsheet program. Any text that starts with a character spreadsheets treat as a formula, such as an equals sign, is prefixed with an apostrophe so it opens as plain text. Files include the date you exported them.
